We value the partnership with Walbridge very much. It's fun to share the Farm with the kids and help inspire the next generation of caretakers.
Last week we sat down with the Walbridge School and pitched an idea: Walbridge Woods. We would name a section of our woods after the school if the students agreed to come help take care of it, learn about the outdoors, and try to enjoy it as much as we do!
The school board liked our idea and we are on our way! Walbridge students will be visiting the Farm four times this school year. Their trips will be both a blend of education and work, with a healthy dose of fun and relaxation too!
And, no time like the present - their first visit is scheduled for next week! We'll let you know how it goes!
These are the best things which we can do for the sake of students, they have a learning stage and they should be brought at such places.
